Dassault Falcon 7X

The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large-cabin, 5,950 nautical miles (11,020 km) range business jet manufactured by Dassault Aviation, the 2nd largest of its Dassault Falcon line. Launched at 2001 Paris Air Show, its first flight was on 5 May 2005 and it entered service on 15 June 2007. The Falcon 8X is derived from the 7X with a longer range of 6,450 nautical miles (11,950 km) afforded by engine optimizing, aerodynamic refinements and an increase in fuel capacity. Featuring an S-duct central engine, it and the Falcon 900 are the only two trijets in production.

Dassault has mastered the art of progression in its Falcon 7X. It employs three upgraded engines, a fly-by-wire system, and winglets. The Dassault 7X is an ideal business jet for owners who wish to travel efficiently, in style and, not to mention, fast.

  • Seats Full Range (NM / SM): 5352 / 6159 – The Dassault Falcon 7X offers an impressive seating capacity while maintaining a remarkable range of approximately 5,352 nautical miles (or 6,159 statute miles) making this a business jet that can effortlessly connect distant destinations.
  • Ferry Range (No Payload) (NM / SM): 5,723 / 6,586 – The Falcon 7X showcases its exceptional ferry range, which reaches approximately 5,723 nautical miles (or 6,586 statute miles) when flying without payload. This extensive range makes it a true global traveler, capable of long-haul flights without refueling.
  • Balance Field Length (Takeoff Distance in Feet): 5,460 – For takeoff, the Dassault Falcon 7X requires a balanced field length of just 5,460 feet. This relatively short takeoff distance allows the aircraft to operate from a wide range of airports, including those with shorter runways.
  • Landing Distance (Feet): 2,737 – The landing distance for the Falcon 7X is a mere 2,737 feet. This short landing distance enhances flexibility when selecting airports and allows for efficient landings, even in challenging conditions.
  • Average Block Speed (KTS / MPH): 476 / 548 – The Dassault Falcon 7X maintains an impressive average block speed of 476 knots (approximately 548 miles per hour). This speed ensures swift and efficient travel, reducing overall flight times.
  • Normal Cruise (KTS / MPH): 475 / 547 – During normal cruise conditions, the Falcon 7X maintains a consistent speed of 475 knots (approximately 547 miles per hour). This provides passengers with a comfortable and efficient cruising experience.
  • Long Range Cruise Speed (KTS / MPH): 448 / 515 – For long-range flights, the Dassault Falcon 7X offers a cruise speed of 448 knots (approximately 515 miles per hour). This speed is optimized for fuel efficiency while covering extended distances.
  • Fuel Usage (Gallons Per Hour): 375.00 – The Falcon 7X is known for its fuel efficiency, consuming approximately 375 gallons per hour during flight. This efficiency not only reduces operating costs but also minimizes environmental impact.
  • Service Ceiling (Feet): 51,000 – With a service ceiling of 51,000 feet, the Dassault Falcon 7X can comfortably cruise at high altitudes, providing a smoother and more efficient ride.
  • Useful Payload With Full Fuel (Lbs): 1,619 – The Falcon 7X offers a useful payload capacity of approximately 1,619 pounds when fully fueled. This means you can carry a considerable amount of cargo or passengers while still having ample fuel for long-distance travel.
  • Maximum Takeoff Weight: 70,000 – The Dassault Falcon 7X boasts a maximum takeoff weight of 70,000 pounds, allowing for heavier loads and longer trips. This impressive weight capacity ensures flexibility when planning your flight.
  • Maximum Landing Weight: 62,400 – The maximum landing weight of 62,400 pounds allows the Falcon 7X to safely touch down with passengers and cargo onboard.
  • Basic Operating Weight: 35,685 – The basic operating weight of 35,685 pounds represents the aircraft’s weight without passengers or cargo.
  • Total Usable Fuel Weight: 31,142 – The Dassault Falcon 7X can carry a total usable fuel weight of approximately 31,142 pounds. This substantial fuel capacity provides the range and endurance needed for long-haul flights, making it a reliable choice for international travel.
